Corporate Social Responsibility Philosophy

Pashupatinath Film Productions Pvt. Ltd. is committed to being a socially responsible organization. We believe in contributing positively to society by supporting initiatives that benefit the underprivileged, ensuring environmental sustainability, and promoting a clean and safe environment. It is our mission to give back to society and make a meaningful impact in the communities where we operate.

Policy Objective

The objective of this policy is to outline the guiding principles for planning, executing, implementing, and monitoring CSR activities undertaken by the Company.

Activities and Projects

The Company will undertake the following CSR activities as defined under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013:

  • Eradicating hunger, poverty, and malnutrition; promoting healthcare, sanitation, and access to safe drinking water.
  • Promoting education, including vocational training, especially for children, women, and differently-abled individuals.
  • Empowering women, promoting gender equality, and supporting old age homes, orphanages, and facilities for senior citizens.
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability and conservation of natural resources.
  • Protecting national heritage, art, and culture, including restoration and promotion of traditional arts.
  • Supporting the welfare of armed forces veterans, war widows, and their dependents.
  • Promoting sports, including rural, nationally recognized, and Olympic sports.
  • Contributing to government-established relief funds for socio-economic development.
  • Undertaking rural development projects.

The Company shall focus on local and operational areas for these activities, ensuring their implementation is India-specific.

CSR Spending

The Company commits to spending at least 2% of its average net profits from the past three financial years on CSR activities. Any surplus from CSR initiatives will not contribute to business profits but will be reinvested into CSR activities.

Implementation

  • CSR activities may be executed through registered trusts, societies, or Section 8 companies.
  • Collaborations with other companies for CSR projects are allowed.
  • CSR capabilities will be built through partnerships with reputed institutions with a proven track record of at least three years.
  • Direct assistance may be provided to individuals or groups in need.
  • Salaries for CSR personnel and volunteers involved in CSR projects may be included in the project costs.
  • CSR funds will not be used for contributions to political parties.

Procedure for CSR Activities

  1. The CSR Committee will recommend activities, execution plans, and budgets to the Board for approval.
  2. Upon Board approval, the CSR Committee will oversee execution, monitor progress, and report on expenditures and outcomes.

Role of the CSR Committee

  • Formulate and recommend the CSR policy to the Board.
  • Identify and propose CSR projects and activities.
  • Develop detailed execution plans, schedules, and monitoring processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the CSR policy and report progress to the Board.

Definitions

Any terms not defined in this policy will have the meaning assigned under the Companies Act, 2013, and the associated rules.
